    莊永裕教授現任職於台灣大學資訊工程學系,他於台灣大學資訊工程學系取得學士(1993)及碩士(1995)學位後到美國西雅圖的華盛頓大學攻讀博士學位,於2004年取得電腦科學博士,旋即返台於台大資訊系任教至今。他的主要研究興趣為計算攝影學、電腦視覺、深度學習及電腦圖學。

    Photography captures light and records valuable moments for people. As mobile phones with cameras get improved, photography becomes more and more popular and has become one of the most important features for mobile phones. Due to their form factors, photographs taken by mobile phones often suffer from various degradation problems in quality.
    Computational photography aims at improving photographs through computation. Many algorithms have been developed for making photographs better by combating with the imperfection of cameras, photographers, and scenes. Recently, AI techniques, deep learning in particular, has been shown effective for many computational photography problems such as super-resolution, image completion, frame interpolation, and many others. Thus, as we move to the AI era, AI techniques also have great impacts on photography. In this talk, I will present our work and review others’ work on applying AI techniques for improving photography. I will also discuss future work in this direction.

    曾或現任職務包括中山大學之通訊所所長與電信研究發展中心主任,科技部之電信與微電學門複審委員與電信學門召集人,經濟部之科專計畫技審委員,IEEE 之MTT-S台南分會創會主席與IEEE T-MTT期刊副編輯等。
